What You'll Need (General)
- Basic hand tools (socket set, screwdrivers, trim removal tools)
- Drill with appropriate bits
- Rivet gun (for rivet-mounted parts)
- Painter's tape (to protect paint during test fitting)
- A friend — many parts are large and awkward to handle alone
By Product Type
Spoilers & Wings
- Typically require drilling 6 holes (3 per side for brackets)
- Start with a smaller pilot hole to prevent cracking
- Use included template if provided
- Clean surface with isopropyl alcohol before adhesive application
Side Skirts
- Usually bolt-on with included hardware
- Some require existing factory bolt removal
- Test-fit before drilling any new holes
Bumpers & Full Body Kits
- Professional installation strongly recommended
- Requires removal of existing bumper
- May need trimming or modification for perfect fit
- Wiring required for fog lights, DRLs, or turn signals
